Let Praise Fill the House

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your heart to God.” (Colossians 3:16 NIV)

Praise is not merely a song we sing it is the atmosphere of a heart ruled by Christ. Paul reminds us that when the peace of Christ governs our hearts, when the Word of Christ dwells richly within us, and when the name of Christ becomes the motivation for all we do, praise naturally fills the house. True praise flows from a life aligned with God’s will. It is more than melody; it is obedience, gratitude, unity, and surrender.

When Christ’s peace rules, strife loses its voice. When His Word fills us, truth shapes our worship. When His name governs our actions, our daily living becomes an offering of thanksgiving. Praise is not confined to the sanctuary it is the overflow of a Christ centered life.

As we gather for Praise Sunday, let us come with hearts ready to exalt Him, not only with our lips but with our lives. Let every song rise from gratitude, every testimony from His goodness, and every act from a desire to honor His name. May this house and every heart within it be filled with praise that reflects the glory of Christ.
Let praise fill the house, because Christ fills our hearts.
