Beloved family in Christ,
As a church family, we believe that every year is part of a larger journey God is shaping in us. In 2025, God invited us to walk closely with Him. In 2026, He is inviting us to move upward, to step into maturity, and new levels of walking with Him.
This year, 2026, our theme, “Moving On To Higher Ground,” builds naturally on the foundation of a closer walk with God. Higher ground is not about status, comfort, or achievement. It is a call to grow deeper in Christ, stronger in faith, deeper in surrender, and clearer in purpose. It is a call to refuse to settle for yesterday’s victories or remain trapped in yesterday’s failures, but choose instead to be shaped by God’s future for us.
Spiritual maturity is not a destination but a journey, a continual ascent toward Christlikeness. It is about letting go of the weights that slow us down and embracing the grace that lifts us up.
Beloved, moving to higher ground is an invitation to continue growing in prayer, in the study of the Bible, in missions and Evangelism, in love, service, commitment, holiness, unity, giving, obedience, hospitality, humility, and faith. May 2026 be a year of rising, individually, in our families, and as a church community.
Let your prayer be: Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
