At International Baptist Church (IBC) Dakar, we are a faith-based community primarily following Baptist traditions, yet we warmly welcome believers from all Christian backgrounds who seek to grow in their relationship with Christ. Becoming a member of IBC Dakar is a meaningful step in deepening your faith, engaging in fellowship, and serving God alongside a diverse and loving congregation.
If you are interested in becoming a member, here’s what you need to do:
Visit Us – We encourage you to attend our Sunday worship services and weekday gatherings to experience the spirit of our church. This is an opportunity to get to know our community, hear God’s Word, and engage in worship. Feel free to ask questions and interact with church members and leaders to better understand who we are and what we stand for.
Fill Out a Membership Form – To formalize your intent to join, you will need to complete a membership form, which is available at the church when you visit. This form helps us learn more about you, your faith journey, and your interest in becoming a part of our church family. Our pastoral team or church leaders will review your application and may invite you for a short discussion to understand how IBC Dakar can support your spiritual growth.
Participate Regularly – Becoming a member is more than just signing up—it’s about being actively involved in the life of the church. Regular attendance at our Sunday services and weekday Bible studies, prayer meetings, and fellowship gatherings helps strengthen your faith and connection with others. Worshiping together allows us to grow spiritually and encourage one another in our walk with Christ.
