“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, … They said to the woman, ‘We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.’” (John 4:39, 42)
The Samaritan woman’s testimony opened the door for her entire community to meet Jesus. The Samaritan womanwas not a religious leader, not a scholar, not someone with prestige. She was a broken woman, marginalized by her community. Yet her testimony carried weight. This encounter shows us how faith grows: from hearing a testimony, to experiencing a personal encounter, to confessing Jesus as the Savior.
We live in a world where people are searching for meaning, identity, and hope. Sometimes, it begins with a simple story. Like the Samaritan woman, do not underestimate the power of your story. God can use it to open hearts. What is your story? What is your testimony? Do you have a story of the changes that have occurred in your life?
Jesus is the Saviour of the world. “Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?” Come to Jesus today and experience that personal encounter with Him. Above all, engage with Christ through Scripture, prayer, and obedience.
