I am God Almighty, walk before me and be blameless. I will confirm my
covenant between me and you and will greatly increase
God spoke to Abram at ninety-nine years old. He said, “Walk before me and be blameless.” This particular call to Abram came after thirteen years of no record of any communication between them. God shows Himself as Almighty- powerful and all-sufficient. God entered a covenant relationship with Abram, a covenant of circumcision. This moment is key in the Bible, as it marks the beginning of God’s deep bond with Abram. The Lord is calling us all to a deeper walk with Him this year. It is a call
to a close and obedient relationship with God. It is a journey of faith meant to transform our lives and draw us nearer to our Creator. Therefore, spend time each day in prayer and reading the Bible to deepen your understanding of God’s character and will. Meditate on God’s attributes to build your trust in Him, apply biblical principles in your daily life, make decisions that honor God, reflect His love to others, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you in
your spiritual journey.
