Come! Let Us Praise the Lord.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:6 NIV)

Beloved family in Christ, today is not just a day on the calendar; it is a divine summons. Praise Sunday is our sacred response to the One who gave us breath, grace, and purpose. Psalm 150 doesn’t whisper; it shouts. It doesn’t suggest; it commands. It is the final word of the Psalms, and it ends not with lament, not with law, but with praise.
The Psalmist cries out:
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” -Psalm 150:6
If you are breathing, you are qualified. If you have been redeemed, you are called.
If you have seen God’s hand in your life, you are ready.
If you have breath in your lungs, you have reason to praise.
If you’ve seen God’s mercy this week, you have a testimony.
If you’ve walked through valleys and still stand, you have a song.

Why Do We Praise? We Praise Because:

  • God is worthy, not just for what He’s done, but for who He is.
  • Praise is warfare; it silences the enemy and strengthens the weary.

Praise is legacy; we echo the songs of our fathers and teach our children to worship.
Therefore, beloved people of God, let us praise loudly, praise freely, and praise intentionally. Because when we praise, we join the angels. When we praise, we silence the enemy. When we praise, we declare: God is here. God is good. God is worthy.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
