It is another Mother’s Day celebration. This provides an opportunity for us to celebrate our mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, and grandmothers and honour them for the roles they play in our lives. The Scriptures clearly instruct that we honor and love our mothers. It also offers various guidance on the role of mothers and their affections. God commanded us to honour our fathers and mothers, and Proverbs 1:8 encourages the children never to forget their mother’s teaching. This poses a great challenge to mothers to be careful of the teachings being given to their children.
Motherhood is undoubtedly a challenging task, so today, we are saying thank you to all mothers for your love, care, and sacrifices. Thank you for providing stability and support for the home. Thank you for your encouragement, resilience, and wisdom in ensuring the well-being of every member of the household. Happy Mother’s Day!
